A stupid analysis.

If you give the HM's punishments on Friday, the BB production team could conjure up all sorts of nasty ways to get the housemates arguing/falling out. The possibilities would be endless and the entertainment value x10 better.

See your other thread, in posted in that. What YOU want out of BB, differs to what the MAJORITY wants. 70% of people do not want to see bitching and arguing. 30% do.

70% of people might vote for BNP, it doesn't make you wrong for disliking them, nor does it make you wrong for complaining about them, but that is how democracy works. Its about trying to please the majority. Look at it from BB's point of view - 5,000,000 viewers.. would they rather please 3,500,000 of them, or 1,500,000.
