She is playing with him, any other normal human beings would see this and bursh it off their shoulders, when JJ finally adapts to real life, real emotions, control and how the real world functions, he would become a better man for it.

I cannot believe how such a good looking man is a total douche bag at times, but with josie he is getting much bettter.

I do think they both do genuinely like each other and are both are at blame equally for this situation.
