If it had been another HM, such as JJ or whoever, who had handled people like this (choking them on socks, throwing them around, almost breaking their nose) then his blood would be demanded.

For some reason though some people seem to have a blind spot for Dave.

Lie about what?
Hes just a bit clumsy type of person and is a big guy, he has no nasty/bully streak at all.
