To reply on topic....Dave offends people with his beliefs, his own 'take' on the Bible and God and Christ are a little hard to stomach, because they are so far 'out there', and there's obviously the point of his profit making organisation which seems to more than ruffle a few feathers.

Plus there are his comments about homosexuals...lumping them in with 'witches warlocks and allsorts of crazy people'...and then his attitude to Steve's disability...it was extremely crass to offer to 'lay his hands on his nubs and command them to grow'...it suggest he assumes a few things....that Steve wants to be changed, he gives some disabled posters I know the impression that he finds his disablilty distasteful because of this...and it also makes him appear arrogant.

Personally though, even with all this, I dont really dislike the fella, but that's because I am naturally drawn to loons...

Dont necessarily disagree with this but I come into contact with all sorts of 'religious type' and although their views on things are worlds removed from mine I still like them as people. Religious beliefs can create huge restrictions in peoples minds but I think Dave means well. He's not my fave but I no way hate him - I dont take his opinions or preaching seriously

Same here, it doesnt matter to me how hard you try and get your point across (Im talking about the religious types now) I'm not going to change my mind so they can bash away as much as they like if they're happy

There are a couple of things that bother me about Dave...apparently there's a vid on youtube of him pretending to be disabled or suggesting that using a wheelchair can help with his cause or summat (I'm paraphrasing here, it's what I was reading on a thread on another forum and didnt watch the video myself, but a few friends did and their reactions were pretty full on...these are decent sane people aswell, not the hang 'em and sting 'em brigade)...so that along with his attitude towards gay people, that they should be pitied/receive mercy like they have committed some kind of crime, that bothers me....but it's a big world, we arent all going to think the same, and while I have disabled and gay friends, I also appreciate every human's right to think how they please, aslong as they hurt no one.

The truth is, I find him a bit bat**** crazy, and it's that that I dont mind. Not crazy in a Shabaz way though *shudders*
