BTW I thought post-hardcore referred to music by bands like Fugazi, who actually emerged from the hardcore punk scene and were quite closely associated with acts like Minor Threat. The stuff you're referring to (presumably Fall Out Boy or the Lostprophets) sounds nothing like it. Hence the phrase post-grunge, which is really a form of pop.
