I haven't asked anyone in a Synagogue but I can tell you that there is a long list of Jewish Hollywood writers, actors and film companies that were not only dressing up as mock Nazis but investing in the films and presenting them to the public.
You could just start with 'The Great Dictator' where legendary Charlie Chaplin wears mock Nazi costumes. From there check out uber-Jewish synagogue member Mel Brooks Films.
I'm all for mocking Nazis. Seems a lot of Hollywood Jews are too. I agree with them and Prince Henry and now Ben.
