I don't mind all the accents at all - it would be boring if everyone had a 'normal' English accent.

I think Richard changes his voice tones because he feels like an outcast. I think if we put a English person in a scotish school for example they would pick up on some tones and words that the scotish use that is just what will naturally happen as the weeks go by.

Yeah, you're probably right. I know that when people come to New York they tend to start getting a little New York accent after a few years.

I think I'm being over-sensitive to Richard's accent because he's Canadian. Do other people agree with GlitterEyes?

I think his accent is very mild for a canadian aswell, plus the fact he talks alot of sense makes me like him. I havent thought much about his accent until this post was started. I find Imogen has the worst accent...cant understand her and she constantly says "Totally" although Glyn is fine to understand.

What do you mean mild? That his Canadian accent is mild?

Yeah, Glyn is easy to understand because his accent is consistent, so you quickly get used to it (plus, Welsh accents as well as Welsh itself is nice to listen to).

glyns welsh accent is much different to imogens welsh accent. obviously glyns is north and imogens is a south/swansea accent.

not many people realise that there was quite a few welsh accents. people in cardiff do not sound welsh at all.

True. I'm normally just used to hearing Welsh accents like Jeff on Coupling - Glyn's the first time I've spent so long listening to a northern Welsh accent. It's his that I was talking about. Maybe it's so much stronger because English is his second language.
