Doesn't mean BPD really though. His issues probably stem from his Dad dying and the fact he had to quit wor to comfort his mum. He definitely has a lot going on up there though. Could do with a Psychiatrist.

He definitely needs proper psychiatric help, even Josie, who is not noted for her amazing intellect told him that!!

BPD sufferers have abnormal fears of abandonment, and the death of JJ's father could be viewed by him in this light. Unfortunately BPD sufferers will often not recognise that they have any problems whatsoevers and because of their inability to acknowledge their illness they are usually unresponsive to treatments.
