I don't find him at all self-righteous! How is he self-righteous? Older hms are usually less inclined to put up with some of the childish, selfish antics of some of the younger ones - but why single him out!
I guess we all see different things in the hms we like or don't like - depending on our age and taste - but I certainly don't find anything about Steve to be disgusting or cringeworthy!
