No slaves actually came to Liverpool, ships would take goods from Lpool to Africa, unload the goods, load slaves and take them straight to the US, Carribean and other places.

From the middle of the 1700s, Liverpool was the biggest slave port in Europe. Having said that... Jezuz... what a fuss over a throw-away comment.
