What is wrong with you - he was badly injured doing his job! The army put him in Ireland where he was blown up - he was there DOING HIS DUTY! Of course he deserves a pension!

Arent all contestants on game shows and all people on reality TV shows being used by the TV production companies?

Arent workers for Asda and Tesco being used by their relative companies to make profits for them. Such is the way of the world, unless you are at the top of the food chain in any particualr industry, you are going to be exploited in some way.

So come on why do you really hate him? His age, tattoos, or because he wears vests?

what do you know about it...you would back any war on the basis your son was involved it...the millions of dead bodies are meaningless to you as long as your son gets a military pension out of it like steve.

Don't bring my son into it - I just have the decency to appreciate the job the soldiers do! If they didn't do it - idiots like you would be conscripted to do it - which should probably happen - teach some of you how to be a man - instead of a loud-mouthed boy whose idea of bravery is anonomously slagging off the soldiers and anyone who defends them!

And im 100% behind Wombai on that one. I back our boys to the hilt as long as they dont step out of line, and if there is any criticism to be dished out..then it should be at the politicians that make the policies and decisions that send our boys to wars or conflicts like NI.

Once again you show an alarming ignorance of the facts. Northern Ireland was at the time and still is part of the UK. There was a problem over there due to discrimination against certain communities.

Civil rights movements started up, violence was used against them, the police were unwilling and unable to prevent the situation worsening so, the local government asked for troops to support the civil powers, hence the UK government sent its troops in to a police action in defence of the civil powers.

im not saying one is better....but 50 odd people died on the buses and trains...more than a million iraqi and afghans have died in the war....can you really compare the two...or is foreigners blood so cheap for you?
