What I found interesting is that she's SOOOOO genuinly interested in him she doesn't know his money came from inheritence from his deceased father. Unless she was just pretending to Jo because it's none of Jos beeswax?!? But it was a bit like when she was surprised last week that corin had been married and her husband passed away.
