She seems to lack social awareness as well! It simply isn't acceptable behaviour at her age - but she doesn't seem to see that! She is a strange girl - and I am sure the psychologists would have a field day with her!

I have sucked my thumb form over 50 years now, I can assure you that it is not a deep seated emotional or any other physiological disorder. It is a habit. It does not stop you having a nomal life, emotional or otherwise. This I say as a happily married woman that has been with the same man for 33 years.:hugesmile

I agree with your point on her seeming to lack social awareness. Once I was in my teens I learned to only be a thumbsucker in private. I could never sit in a pub etc sucking my thumb never mind on the telly.
