Eventhough Sam is playing the game, intentionally winding them up, I think that he's also honestly interested in getting the answers to his questions.

I know what you're saying....a blatant game player is usually considered 'false' because it's human nature to judge the validity and integrity of their friendships...which is understandable, how can you totally trust that person's motives for wanting your friendship?
I think that's where Josie has thrown a spanner in the works for John James...his game would have been a hell of alot easier without her there..
