FWIW I only support housemates regarding their time in the house and not out of it aswell, and I'd be happy for a Dave or Josie win

Exactly, HMs should only be judged on their time in the house, nothing more. Apart from anything else, it would be silly for anyone to think they could judge someone's whole life so far and then decide whether to phone vote for them on a reality TV show on the basis of their *judgement*.
