It's not though. The 'Mission Deadwood' campaign was fairly big and people were actually trying and it still failed.

If that's not conclusive proof that there literally is no point then I don't know what is, to be honest...

Generally, people just aren't willing to waste 50p to vote for a pointless housemate. They'd rather vote with hatred and kill the show.
