They Were Communist
Now they are Commercial but under Strict controls.

Most Electrics and other household items are made in China.

Back in the 60's
The Brits made a small Transitor Radio.
China stole that design.

So although they are Number 1
they also have illegal Bootlegs going on
with the powers making money on that.

They seem to be more Capitalist than Communist nowadays. Their human rights record, and their relationship with countries like N.Korea is worrying though

They're not communist, but they are not a democracy either. The good side to this is that they offer foreign aid to third world countries unconditionally, whereas the US or UK always look at a country's human rights record before offering help. Apparently it has done wonders for struggling countries like the Congo.

The downside? They are totally illiberal and cooperate with appalling regimes like North Korea and Zimbabwe. In fact, all North Korean refugees are sent back home as a general rule, most likely to get thrown into a concentration camp.

"Apparently it has done wonders for struggling countries like the Congo."

Yes Built New Strong Roads to China Owned Congo Mines
some Africans though worked so hard under the on site Manager (from China)
they went down to the raw bones of there hands.
That was in a Report in Sunday Papers.

Because America is so busy in there stupid Wars
China is able to move onto many African and other places
and set up Factorys and the like.
China has to be in Africa to carry on now
as they need more Metals and the like
than any other nation.
