I thought Zainab was good tonight, her expression was horrifying to watch. Especially as she has bad memories of being in a fire.

Vanessa was a bit OTT I thought though. I understand she would be worried for her daughter, but she was screaming soooo loud.

Just a suggestion, doubt it.

See at the end when the Vic sign was shaking, did anyone think it was going to fly off and hit Peggy on the head?

Apart from the fire, my favorite scenes were with Pat and Stacey in the toilets. It was so random and unexpected for Pat to slap her, in a weird way I think if Stacey was staying on longer, they may have made Pat like an extra nan to Stacey.

Stacey has been such an amazing character IMO anyway that when she returns in a few years as an older character I think it'll be great. Yeah I loved the Pat scenes although the i've been round the block a few times was a lie, she's done it much more

I don't think it will be cliché (leaving in a black cab), I think she leave another way. I'm not sure how though.

Another thing that shocked me about this episode was the fall of Ryan and Stacey from the ladder after the explosion. I didn't expect that, it looked a really nasty fall too.

noticed this too, i was like

it's good that ryan got lily before stacey because lily wouldn't have been able to survived that.

I was bit frustrated by Peggy and Phil's expressions and wailing before the fire.
They overacted way too much.
And the screaming did get a bit hard on the ears from Vanessa'a mouth, reminded me of her wailing in Footballer's Wives.

Well i'm delighted Peggy didn't die

, some people like her some don't but she's a soap legend and i'm pleased Barbara Windsor can return to Eastenders at some point in the future, for me it just wouldn't be right if Peggy died at least knowing she's alive and out there somewhere is good.

Vanessa annoyed me too but I don't see how Peggy and Phil overreacted. Phil was mad at his mother for locking him in a room and treating him like a caged animal and Peggy was mad at her son for the way he's letting himself go with the drugs and alcohol.
