I think they do, I'm not a comic reader, I've just watched the films and played a lot of the games and such. I suppose If either villain were to be used in a film they'd alter the history slightly.

I think Robin could be done well, but not for a few films yet. In literally all but one of the films I've seen they've always made Robin cheesy and that's their downfall. He shouldn't be some sort of comic relief or a pointless sidekick, instead he should be more of an apprentice and be seen as more similar to batman rather then some out of place kid in brightly coloured tights.

It could be done well, but it'd be a challenge and as Robin plays a big part in the Batman mythos I can see them doing it at one point.
