Lord Of The Rings Trilogy - fulfilled every expectation for me - every character was just as I had imagined they would be - in particular Gollum was a masterpiece. You could tell it was made by a director who loved the book.

Peter Jackson starts filming "The Hobbit" (the prequel) in February, and I just know it's going to be amazing.

Hmmm, not sure about you on that one. Jackson had to make some sacrifices in his attempts to turn it into a mainstream Hollywood blockbuster, which was fine by me seeing as it's quite obvious he has a love of the source material. Still though, I can't say that it's entirely faithful to the mood and texture of the novel, but sure it was never going to contain that seeing as it was done on such a huge scale.
