But basically...we have had months of arguing(in PM and on here)/sniping on the boards. Nearly every mod has attempted to reason with him. it hasnt happened. Everytime we just get the same thing thrown back in our face...that we are all targetting him.

One I can understand, accusing ONE mod of being biased...fair enough, maybe even two. but it has got to the point where every one of us has been accused by the same member. Which is just never going to happen. We are all very different people, with very different styles of modding...different friends etc. So what are the chances that 6 or so people are all against one member?

Oh alright. It's like permabans are really final and everything though. If it was a member I didn't like I'd still be sort of sad.

Like if Thomas hadn't had me, Jordan, Boothy etc. [whoever helped PM mods and things] well then would Thomas ever have come free? Setanta doesn't have contact with anyone [maybe Lee am not sure] else from here, so won't it be harder for him to get back for a trial or something? Because the only reason Thomas has changed and is acceptable again is because he's had chance to know what he was doing wrong, and tried to put it right, which it seems he has done.. so surely Setanta should be let back after a certain amount of time for a trial, as Thomas was, to try and prove himself again and stop the complaining etc.

I don't really think that makes sense but still

because I thought i made a snap decision with Thomas which ive explained a few times now, this hasnt just been done tonight, its been debated for sometime now.

We made no snap decisions on the matter, We all tried to talk him round numerous times and we put off permabanning him many times. There's gonna be a ****storm on the matter but at the end of the day he was an utter nightmare that never worked with us but only acted to antagonise us constantly. It may seem like he's been banned for nothing from the outside but he caused the mod team a lot of grief constantly as well as often being in the center of a fair few tibb dramas.

I'm sure after a break setanta will be back. Can't say for definate obviously. I ain't a mod/admin but sometimes you do need a cut off

Lili was let back on the forum after a 17 month perma-ban. If he took the time to sit back and actually understand what he needed to change in order to be let back onto the forum, then maybe he'll be given another chance - it was just his persistently stubborn attitude to not play nicely, essentially, that got him banned.
