The queues at McDonalds. It's not my favourite place at the best of times but when the sign clearly reads that you should queue in front of a till rather than gather in a huge brain dead mass in the centre thereby blocking the exit, you should just do what the sign instructs! A few months back when I was working at this shop and had a lot to fit in my lunch break I couldn't afford to mingle with the mob so I did exactly what the sign said and jumped to the nearest till. I got the odd dirty looks but it got me my friggin' McMeal and I did it correctly

I cannot stand the winter weather either. It gets too dark too early, it's always cold, slippery, wet, windy, grey, the people around you are miserable, money is on everyone's mind before Christmas and once that's over and done with you have another 2-3 months of the awful weather with Valentines thrown in as another Godawful soppy 'holiday' to swindle money out of you. The day I realise I don't need to wear a jacket anymore is that day I smile again

LOL! That's because we should hibernate like the animals! If it's cold everywhere people will just want to snuggle up to escape it

It rarely snows round my way lol. It'd either mud and rain or a bit of ice. I came this close to a white Xmas last year and then it turned to mush.

With any rain I'd rather it come full pelting thunder storm or be sunny and not rain at all. I hate small, spitty, drizzly rain or when it's just randomly grey and cloudy out because it's just purely indecisive.

Selfish! Selfish! Selfish! Lol the above reasons are enough to stop me sleeping at night. Look at the time! I'm supposed to be up in a few hours

Last winter the only bloody thing I saw for two months was snow and ice. Gave schoolkids an extra week off school over Xmas though Oh and me a hoot watching the cars slide sideways down my road

And therein lies the sick joke about when it finally does snow! Some countries have snow for months or even year round but as soon as we get it our nation can't cope and so roads have to be closed, schools cancelled and the munchkins roam the streets in all their terror! Kill me now lol

I laugh my (bits) off when we grind to a halt after an inch of snow. Though to be fair last year it was pretty bad here.

I'd trade my winter for that. If I'm snowed in it'll give me a clearer purpose to survive winter and give me an excuse to sleep. If I'm on a dangerous road I'd try to find the funny side of it (no point always worrying, threting or being annoyed) as I literally laughed when a bus I was on almost crashed on an icy road last year (I figure if I'm gonna die I might as well go out laughing).
It's the pettyness of the 1-inch snow and the mountains of unswept leaves that frustrates me in addition to everything else winter offers lol. I think to some extent everyone I know has Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) apart from one girl who is totally the opposite and gets like this during the summer but lives for winter

My best friend loves winter over summer. She HATES the summer.

Haha had to laugh at the bus thing. Had the same myself on my way to work. On one of the worst hills in Sheffield my bus decided to go sideways and the driver had us passengers bouncing on the back seats to give the back wheels traction. I was howling laughing

Out of curiosity I began to register for an online dating site. Now they're clogging up my emails with 100s of supposed private messages per day....go away

I asked a lady texting on her phone if she had the time as I was too rushed to grab my phone this morning. She looked at me silently as if I were talking in Sanskriit and walked away. I had the right mind to shout "thanks for nothing" and embarrass her infront of everybody present, but I'm too much of a pushover.

Where do people learn manners like this?
