So Radiohead's depressing but Coldplay isn't? Have you actually listened to any of their stuff or are you just agreeing with Legend Killer for the sake of it?

Radiohead are inventive, they're interesting and aren't insufferable and as hateable as Coldplay. | ||

I'd say Coldplay are much more depressing. One, It's all whiny falsetto-esqe crap that borrows liberally from far more successful bands, and two, It's that bad it makes me want to take a running dive off the nearest building. I can't stand them at all, they're just so.....generic.

Coldplay are nothing but a pale watered down imitation streamlined for Middle England. If Radiohead were Miles Davis, Coldplay would be Kenny G. If Radiohead's OK Computer were Mozart's Requiem, Coldplay's Rush of Blood to the Head would be Karl Jenkins' Requiem. Geared totally towards people who buy one CD a year and want nothing more out of music and musicians than to be cynically catered to. And how can you say Coldplay have never sounded like U2 when Chris Martin literally models himself after Bono these days. Crucifixion poses, narcissistic posturing... he has it all down to a tee. You cannot tell me this... ..sounds nothing like this.
