I provided typical examples of behaviour in controlling people and 'what is said during a situation where a person is forcing themselves upon another by whichever means, with that person vocalising how they feel and how the very clear word/s used vs how the spoken word/s are truly misinterpreted - to the advantage of the person doing the 'controlling'. It's a way of the controlling person 'validating' their unacceptable behaviour basically. As far as I'm aware, Mario didn't actually say this (well, not on the 'show' ): LauraC did - it's Laura's interpretation of what Andrew said, and her interpretation of it that I was questioning.

More from that angle - they were merely very extreme examples only!!
