We were talking aobut the same thing today.... they are like bloody long spears..... dangerous as hell. Think there's a wee thaw on obviously - but jings, criven, help ma boab...... they're dangerous things eh!

God yeah.. There are some on the buildings up the town that must be 3/4 feet

I spotted quite a few driving home tonight, 3 of us in the car and we were totally 'gobsmacked'....... have seen icicles, but never like these, as long as you say, or as thick. It's all quite mesmorising though...especially when there are rows and rows of them.

Waits for reports of people being speared to death !!
