This has to hurt their future vote tallies?
Probably not because they do this over and over again and don't seem bothered. They ought to be.
Big Brother was another one playing games with the rules and in a sense 'mitigating' votes or playing with the numbers.
May be 'legal' but its annoying and takes a lot of motivation away for the would-be phone-in.
