I agree,he has been very very good most weeks and he has been ill and isn't up to par at the moment,Matt always delivers,and he cant help it if he is ill,but I still think he should win,as imo he is the best.

Matt to win, he's had a few rocky performances but he is very likeable, has a personality and is talented with a good voice.. he seems very opinionated and although he lost his temper over Katie/Aiden going and Wagner done him no harm.

PS I liked how he hugged Cher after it was announced she came 4th and he got through.

I quite like the fact that he's opinionated, saying whats on your mind is a good thing, after all it's what all of us here do everyday, why should he be any different

He seems to me to be the only one that cuddles Cher,they seem to get on ok.

LOL. Hard to disagree with that one !! I have to say, I've got a sneaky suspicion she might win tonight. Just somethiing different in the way the judges were speaking of her performances last night - much as I'd love Matt to win, my gut is saying it might not happen.

Not that that matters - all the 4 finalists will have recording contracts offered - it's the significance of the win that has the status behind it.

I hope he does succeed tonight, I'll be throwing a vote his way just to do my bit.

Matt pretty much showed us all he was capable with during the First Time performance, he can do the ballads reasonably well because there's big moments and he relies on them because his voice lack definition unless he's belting. With most of his songs, we're just waiting around for the big note to happen. He can't maintain interest in the lower ranges.

His faster paced performances were so so and the only time he's tried to add character to his voice was with the Come Together Performance which sounded ridiculous and forced.

Pros
- A good technical singer
- Can hit the big notes.

Cons
- Him and his voice lacks substance, it's pretty but there's little behind it.
- He can only do ballads well, he is weak when it comes to faster paced songs.
- Limited range, it's all good being a belter but if you can't maintain interest in the down bits then how do you hope to succeed?

He'd be a good lead singer for some generic pop rock band like the Script but as a solo singer his shortcomings are obvious. That's my opinion of him at my least biased.

I agree with this,One Direction and Rebecca(much as I like her) were rammed down our throats last night,that's all the judges and guests wanted to talk about(except for the Mcfly guy)Matt has been pretty much in the background.so like you we will be throwing some votes his way and fingers crossed,we can but try
