The guy tells his phone a friend to look it up which is why they scrapped it in the US I think

It's a lot better when they just have the simple format of people answering questions with as much time as you want and the three standard lifelines. They dont need clocks, they dont need live shows, they dont need to introduce a new lifeline after Ł50,000. Having the timer just meant the first half of the show was Chris Tarrant frantically shouting at them and Ann Widdecombe taking complete charge.

It's also stupid that after Ł50,000 it goes to Ł75,000, that's far too small an increase for that stage in the show

Yeah, it might have worked better if it was pre-recorded, having it live made it a bit too hectic and panicky
