About India's murder, wouldn't it have made more sense to kill Texas to develop India as a character as she's been there longer. And I don't like Texas lol. Unless the actress quit obviously.

Hollyoaks is brilliant at the moment, best soap at the moment if you ask me, its so underrated! Indias murder was brilliant had such a chill through the episode, its going to be one hell of a storyline

Camera manufacturer Nikon has agreed a seven-figure deal to sponsor Channel 4's Hollyoaks, replacing mobile phone retailer Phones 4 U.

From New Year's Day, sponsorship for Nikon's Coolpix compact camera range will appear with the soap opera on Channel 4 and E4, running for 12 months.

Nikon previously sponsored Hollyoaks from May to September this year, before Phones 4 U took over to the end of December.

The new sponsorship campaign will run on weekday editions of the soap opera, along with the Saturday omnibus. It will consist of a range of 10-second idents conveying "the emotions and fun of taking pictures with the Coolpix cameras".

Jeremy Gilbert, group marketing manager at Nikon UK, said: "Nikon's sponsorship of Hollyoaks in 2010 proved to be very successful and undoubtedly contributed to a significant rise in market share for our Coolpix products.

"Hollyoaks continues to provide Nikon with access to a young, trendy audience to whom we are able to communicate the strengths of the Coolpix range. We look forward to promoting our key Coolpix products throughout the campaign."

It's not because film actors have been in soaps before, a job is a job especially in these economic climates where people are struggling.

I don't like Harry Potter so only know the actor Jeff Rawle from other TV work he has done..

India's murder was brilliantly written and Jeff Rawle's character has really freaked my daughter out, she was really frightened last night after she went to bed. What scared her the most was that he's some-one's grandad.....

Warren & Brendon, some great stuff happening with these two I can't wait to see what they do with Danny.

How old is she?, I agree Hollyoaks did it brilliantly and they're great at bring issues like this to the foorefront and being creative with their interpretation of it.

Me too, it's obvious they will team up against Danny then turn on each other. Brendan is a complex character that one minute you like him and the next you don't, wish they had a new bad girl to play with though.

You completely misunderstood my post.
I wasn't being degrading about soap actors compared to movie actors. I was simply stating it was weird for me to see him as Cedric Diggory's father in HP and then randomly murdering India in Hollyoaks. Thought it was funny.

She's 12 and she enjoys having fun with her school mates on face book and other gaming sites. I'm forever teaching her about the dangers of online chats and social networks, so I was pleased when I heard about this story. It's a blunt story, no skirting around the edges and this is one of the many reasons I enjoy Hollyoaks.

I think Jeff Rawle is a great actor and his portrayal of this Internet maniac is a credit to the show.

I think the producer realised they weren't working and that most viewers didn't like them. Tony names his new spa Go Sharpe so they will have to come up with an excuse as to how they're not around.
