Default Virgin Internet

I have recently moved to Virgin Internet and noticed it seems to cut in and out a lot,has anyone else got this or had this problem with Virgin?I used to be on AOL and it seemed better.

Friends of mine moved from AOL as they found it particularly bad.

I've been with Virgin for about 8 years or thereabouts - but I can't say I seem to have more problems with internet connection than I had with BT many years ago. I experience the occasional issue but that's about it.

That said: on Christmas Day the whole bliddy broadband went down in my area - tv, phone, internet.

No offence but Virgin users are quite cheap and aren't getting anywhere.

I mean.. just listen to the name.. would you really want to have 'Virgin' Media.

I used to use virgin, they were useless IMO.

Apart from the internet going down all the time, they tried to rip me off on a few occasions and their 'customer service' lines are filled with people who can barely speak english and have no clue what they are talking about, my wireless wouldnt come on one day and they advised me to 'try changing your homepage'

We had Virgin Internet in 2007/8 and it was dreadful. So slow and kept on unconnecting. We have BT Internet now and it is very good!

I was with AOL for years, but I found customer services particulaly hard to have a conversation with they were all foreign and could barely speak English,so I used to end up so irate with them that I had to find another service for my healths sake, lol,I might try SKY or even BT have you any experience with them?

Cheeky buggar!!!

Honestly, I can't fault them. Anytime I've had to phone them up, I've had problems fixed, and quickly. Perhaps I've been lucky but I really can't complain. They may not speak English as their first language, but still, I've not had issues with language.

Kazanne, I had BT years ago and found their customer services to be both useless, as well as unpleasant to deal with, it was one of the reasons I left BT - their customer service was terrible. Certainly it was years ago and I would imagine, may have changed.

Current BT users would be in a better position to give you a more upto date opinion on how they find them.

Sky is the best internet I have had for years. £40 a month for TV, Internet and Phone. It's very quick and I got a free Sky+ HD box for subscribing.
