It's clearly never been this nuts though. It only started really casting the net wide in terms of the writing from about series 5 on. It's amazing to think now that the show first hit big because of true to life humour. It's now been watered down to a chavvy comedy drama rather than a series with genuine heart and sharp writing.

It's still good, but yeah.

Yes its a totally different show to when it began they have pulled some pretty surreal scenes along the way i seem to remember one where they were all in victorian times god knows how they make it work but they seem to manage it.

The actor who plays Ian quit the show before they started filming so they must have just wrote him out.

Might get mentioned at some point in this series where he is.
