Default Could you cope with a transplant??

Somebody has died - and given to you.

How would you feel?

I'd be fine with it, waste not want not and all that. I'd want my organs to go to good use if I died so the reverse doesn't weird me out.

I would be very grateful,if I could know the donors identity I would like to try to do something for his/her family by way of thanking them for such a great gift to let me live my life.

Being a donor is a very great and selfless thing to do,I would hope I would always respect the donor and look after the organ donated to me to save my life.

I would also be grateful to the donor and their family. I would write and thank the donor family, through the transplant service.

They dont allow direct contact nor do they allow the identities of recipients and donors to be known, saves problems.

I'll say what I like. One minute you say my threads are great, now they're random. I'm trying to keep the place active so if you don't like it, don't reply

I would feel grateful and relieved. I would want to meet the donor and thank them. Or if they are dead I would go to their gravestone and say my prayers. I think I will give all my organs away once I have died. Except my eyes. I will keep my eyes.
