Police wanted to know how her daughter Princess, three, suffered burns to her arm. The tot’s dad, Peter Andre, 37, was also contacted.

Furious Katie, 32 – also known as Jordan – said: “This is someone being malicious. It was a minor accident.”

Distraught Katie last night angrily rejected any suggestion that she would ever deliberately harm her children.

And she was furious at whoever made the "malicious" call that led to her being questioned on suspicion of cruelty to three-year-old daughter Princess.

It came after the toddler was accidentally burned on the arm while in her care.

Ex-husband Peter Andre, 37, has also been contacted by officers.

But yesterday the Aussie singer was adamant he was not the one who tipped off police, despite the pair being involved in a similar storm over Princess last year.

Both Peter and Katie's camps disagree wildly about the severity of the burn. The model insisted last week that it was a "minor, fluke injury". She added: "It's the sort of thing that happens to children all the time. Princess is fine, there will be no lasting damage and she is in no discomfort."

But Peter claimed the injury was more serious - and was annoyed that he wasn't informed straight away. He said: "I'm sorry but my daughter being burnt and me not being told about it immediately is a big issue."

Is this a storm in a teacup or is there no smoke without fire ?

It probably was a minor burn, I doubt we will know for sure, or whether it's just KP herself generrating more news for herself. But, the fact she dismisses it so lightly as nothing, and that her daughter is in no discomfort, I find very uncaring. Burns, considered minor or not always cause some discomfort, so Peter is right to be concerned.

I dont think she is dismissing. She seems more angry that someone would think shed harm her own child and rightly so.

KP seems to have a "care less" attitude towards her children - she only gets "involved" with them when she has to ..... in that respect, as in most of her attitudes, she is apparently very immature .....

I very much doubt that she doesn't care about her children, sounds to me like she's annoyed that she has to defend herself about this.

Singer Peter Andre is furious and has called in lawyers after his ex-wife Katie Price handed over their three-year-old daughter Princess with a three-inch burn on her back.

Andre was shocked to see the burns and raced her to a doctor. Despite his texts and anxious calls Price refused to reply him back. The injury was caused when Princess burnt herself in a sauna -during Price's ski trip two weeks ago.

'She was in a sauna with her mum and sister when -Princess ran in and burnt her back on something. We're not sure what it was but suspect it could have been a hot pipe. Katie was -devastated to see her little girl in pain,' mirror.co.uk quoted a source close to former model as saying.

Andre is furious and wants to know why the girl was allowed to go into a sauna.

The former glamour model, 32, said that Princess, aged three, was burned under her armpit in a "fluke incident" at the Swiss ski resort of Klosters last week.

Katie released a statement which read: "Princess has in fact got a minor burn under her armpit that she received in a fluke accident when she was in Klosters.

"At that time she was with my mother and my sister and had (unbeknown to my sister) followed my sister to retrieve pyjama's left to warm.

PETER Andre is compiling a dossier of evidence against ex-wife Jordan to support his bid for custody of his children.

The pop star, 37, claims she is an unfit mum and has video footage of her allegedly screaming obscenities.

His solicitor made a legal application to the Family Court after daughter Princess, three, was burned on her back while in Jordan's care.

A source said: "Peter thinks she is mentally unfit to be in charge of children. He wants full custody, even if temporary, until she sorts out her car crash of a life."

The model and reality television star said she was "relieved" at the results of the investigation into Princess Tiaamii's injury.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: "We have concluded our investigation into an incident involving a three-year-old from Woldingham.

"Officers from the Public Protection Investigation Unit are satisfied the account given is consistent with the injury and have no child protection safeguarding concerns in connection with this incident.

"No arrests were made during the investigation and no further action will be taken."

Nope not quite, although the police spokesperson said "no further action" that actually means they wont be following up with a criminal investigation.

They are legally obliged however, if they havent already done so, to inform the local Social Services offices that they carried out an investigation into the welfare of a child.

The Social Services could now become involved in Katie's life. Well thats the way the system is supposed to work.

As she emerged from the show her driver accidentally lurched forward hitting a bollard and knocking down a teenage bystander in the process.

The glamour model, 32, was then ushered back into the theatre through the swelling crowd to await police and the youngster was taken away in an ambulance to seek medical attention.
