Lukaku is class

I didn't expect £26m though, that's a huge amount for such a young player, without having really proven himself against the big European teams.

Out of Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham though I think he'd be best at Tottenham, a player with his talent and as young as he is needs a lot of playing time and he definitely won't get that within a season or two at Chelsea if they get Neymar, possibly Liverpool, but I'm sure he'd be a key part of Tottenham's squad if he plays well in his first couple of matches.

Rangers will announce early on Friday financial figures for the last six months of 2010 but it is unlikely a new owner will be in place by then.

Lloyds Bank are satisfied with businessman Craig Whyte's plans for addressing the Ibrox club's debt.

This frees him to finalise a takeover deal with current owner Sir David Murray.

Club chairman Alastair Johnson said on Thursday: "It is unlikely that anything will be signed and sealed today."

Johnston flew into the UK today from his base in the United States to deliver the financial results and work on the ongoing sale of the club.

He told BBC Scotland: "It is a very fluid situation but meetings are ongoing and it's very much an ongoing process."

From what I've heard Celtic's debt have overtook Rangers debt this year

Mixu Paatelainen has left Kilmarnock to take over as the manager of Finland.

"Following careful consideration Mixu has decided that the honour of managing his national team is one which he cannot refuse," read a statement from the Rugby Park club.

"He will take up his duties with the Finnish FA immediately."

West Ham 2-0 Man Utd

Marc Noble with 2 penalties. West Ham by far the better team first half, looking great defensively, Noble, Parker and Hitzelsperger are bossing the Utd midfield, and Cole and Ba are just owning Vidic and Smalling. It's shaping up to be a great day for football.

Rooney has already started diving though, Berbatov will do the same when he comes on, so need West Ham to score another.

You're probably right - I did notice that West Ham on the Asian Handicap of +0.5 were sitting at 1/20 - lordy who put money on that :-) Another Arsenal @ Newcastle big hole in the pocket :-)
