BTW peaked at 3 and didn't even make #1 over here, SLY was huge over here then but still Gaga's Bad Romance would have been able to get at least a week at #1 if it had been released in 2011 at the same time. Obviously I can't say for sure because the video's not out, she's not done promo etc. but if anything I can see the video turning people against her.

Poker Face was released AFTER it had a video out, stuff like that always makes a difference, plus she was all over UK TV and radio promoting. I don't see how the public didn't warm to it when you look at it's sales and the amount of airplay it's still getting on the radio. The public won't turn against her, she's not Gary Glitter

as long as she makes good music, people don't care.
