Okay first of all, Linux is not a vital service. Barely anyone used the Other OS feature on the PS3 so I for one wouldn't care less if that was removed and I doubt the majority of PS3 users would care either.
Knocking an entire online gaming network out isn't justifiable by any means just because sony brought out the legal team against a hacker. I actually hate whoever did this now and I hope the person(s) is found and I hope they are put in jail and/or fined a hefty sum.
How you can defend the hackers DeejayAJ is beyond me.
