Is this still allowed or what? I'm sure I saw a thread by a mod announcing this will not be allowed from now yet I'm still seeing it from certain members(you know who you are).

I never use textspeak. I think it looks immature.

I use acronyms yes, but I only use the ones everyone else uses like ik, ikr, atm, iirc and so on. I use kmt as well but thats more of a joke.

Yeah still not allowed.

Obviously for the ODD post we can let it go, but if someone was constantly typin lyk dis or whatever then they would end up getting their posts deleted and getting infractions for every post they make like that.

People used to be given warnings for text speak, now I notice the mods are much more tolerant of it. I would love for warnings/infractions to be given out for it again though, it's so annoying to see a post full of it and there are some members who use it constantly.

I kind of agree, I do find it annoying at times, but I use it to abbreviate often - e.g. atm, LOL. I'll also make it blatently obvious I'm using it when somebody writes something really stupid or ignorant, for example I might type like this...

omg lol i dnt no wat u mean but dats a well stupid view wats ur problems u seem well agresive u need 2 gt out more m8 ur such a skank
