Ticking a box is not always that simple. Therefore that % is seriously flawed.

There are many people who are married and closeted that would tick 'straight' for example.

Hundreds of thousands of samples. If you have a better survey then lets see it.

As I say, I think surveys on sexuality are flawed. Full stop.

Sexuality is such a personal issue that you cannot gauge a reading with any accuracy.

Here's a point: Say the figure is 1.5% - for arguments sake. Now survey any muslim community. Not only would you get a figure of 0% (probably) but you would also be risking your safety even to ask such a question.

There are many cases of closest gay and bisexual people that would not make a survey of this kind accurate. Even when done anonymously.
