That's the business artists like GaGa are into and there is a demand for it. Bowie didn't need to slap on platform boots to improve his music but that's exactly what he did because that's the type of show he wanted to put on.

Funny that you are speaking for the fans who just want to sing along. Do you honestly think if you were to quiz most people going in the doors to arenas that they would agree with you? The vast majority came to see a bloody good show. Sure plenty would be happy with GaGa unplugged in a nice black dress or something like that but I'm betting the audience I'm arguing on behalf of it bigger.

So all that stuff is necessary to the type of show she wants to put on, yeah. And I would rather see that type of show than hear Adele singing live with a nice white curtain behind her.
