This is where German industrialist tendancies win out. Those shrewd Germans built a Lidl up the road from us. Got like 12 cans of Excelsior for eight euro. It's insane.

It's disgusting - mind you - but cheap.

It's tolerable cold the thing is Lidl don't seem to want to invest in fridges for their booze. It's just stacked on the floor on pallets .

After the first few cans though taste goes out the window and you don't care.

And yeah the name is awesome. I love how cheap lagers get the best names. All mystical bollocks like Druids.

Over here it seems prices are rocketing in the pubs for beer but in the supermarkets it's dirt cheap, sorta annoying really cos mostly I do prefer the pub, dunno if it's the same there

It's about 5 quid on average here for a pint which I guess is about 4 British pounds. It's considered a complete rip off. The pubs are loosing massive money. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who bring small bottles of Vodka in with them to pubs and clubs now. It's almost like you HAVE to do it to keep it affordable.

I know people - myself among them - that will put a naggin of Captain Morgans or Vodka or whatever into each sock every single time and try their best to not buy a single drink in a pub or club.

With clubs it's fine but in pubs you really crave that pint atmosphere. If not whats the point. You may as well have the pub in your living room and watch what you want to watch.

Ouch. Yeah it's around £3 pound a pint here but seems to be creeping up. They used to be quite subtle with putting the prices up but now it's like 25p a time or something. It's a shame the pub culture is really going to pot. Society is rubbish
