If Lisicki beats Sharapova then she'll manage to beat Azarenka.. they're practically the same player.

VERY VERY Shocked at Federer!! My GOD! Great win for Tsonga though! AO '08 final replay against Djokovic, Jo Wilfred will be looking for some revenge!

Hopefully Murray can win this, and in three sets! Hopefully Fish pushes Nadal to 5 or somehow wins!

Lopez is now playing harder on Murray,
as Murray just got a injury

Of course Murray is way ahead in scores

No Bloated BBC Local News, yet.

As Murray is on BBC1 and BBC1HD

Of course BBC2 could have London local news
but then all the othere places would get Angry.

The BBC Local News is 5mins
at 7PM -7:05PM

Really shocked that Federer has gone out, really good match though, Can't really see Fish beating Nadal now.

Well done though to Tsonga,a really gritty effort to win his match..

Another steady performance from Murray, if Fish can go on and get a comeback against Nadal as Tsonga did against Federer earlier, that would round-off a great day of Tennis.

Nadal serving for it.

I think Djokovic has the best chance he's ever had to win Wimbledon. If he beats Tsonga he'll be the new world no.1

I see Tsonga as the giant killer this year, Djokovic was rather under par this match, I can see Tsonga believing he can beat him and also likely doing so too.
Djokovic will need all his wits about him to get a result against him.

Nice Tennis fact for you all

Tsonga's birthplace is 121 miles closer to London than Andy Murray's and he smiles more.

Sensing some upsets today! Azarenka losing in two to Kvitova. It happened here last year in the third round 7-5 6-0!

I also think Lisicki will have a) nothing to lose b) the crowd on her side c) the power to frustrate Maria. I know she's capable! Just hoping she can put it all together and make it work

Don't really see how a tennis player's birthplace's proximity to London is important . Support who you want.. I appreciate the sport as a whole and have admiration for every single player playing at this level... if smiles is your thing, fair enough. We're all different. :/

I've got a good feeling... I think she'll do it! Her obvious joy when she wins makes me smile

He didn't say it was important he just said he was born closer to London then Murray was

Soon enough we'll have Liam Broady as our British #1 and everyone will be forgetting about Murray

Ok.. he maybe didn't use the word important, but to have said it means he thinks its relevant.

Yes, but an irrelevant one, that's my point. He was insinuating that because Tonga was born closer to London than Murray was and smiles more, English people should support him.
I just think it was a petty comment aimed directly at Murray fans. If you don't see it as that then fair enough... I'm not going to get into an argument about it in a thread which up until now has been a very enjoyable/sporting one.
