Mids, if you're not getting enough relief from the medication you're on, should you go back to the docs? I've a feeling any time I heard of someone with pleurisy it was automatic hospitalisation. I'm not trying to freak you out, and they were always fine after, but it's a very acute condition, isn't it? I think you need to get yourself 24 hr monitoring for a while. Just saunter up to A&E if they're not inclined to refer you. Then ever time the drugs trolley hovers into view, say 'Yes Please'.
