Some of the shows, live feed was absolutely critical to get a real feel of what was actually going on: when you watched live feed, then watched the highlights: it was obvious how much editing is done to suit.

Obviously it depends on the individual shows: but overall yes, it makes a huge difference in what is actaully happening, and what is or is not shown in the highlights.

I guess I'll live without LF, since I'll be busy mostly this Autumn anyway, but even so it would've been nice to have LF available. I don't care about the editing really, I just watch for entertainment, I never get that fussed with the HMs unless I really like them.

I only watched it religiously during BB3 and 4 and think I went off it because of BB4 but I liked to dip in and out of it if there wasn't much else on and I completely understand why people want to watch it as it happens and less edited. It affects how viewers relate to the contestants and how much press coverage the show gets

Not gonna lie I had a free pass for LF last year and hardly watched it but its the principal that people can watch it if they want. That we can see whats really going on away from the editing of the HL shows.

I can tell why its a big deal to some.

The live feed isnt important. The only people who miss the live feed are the die hard fans who have the time to sit there and watch it 24/7

With the live feed you have 24 hours of action per day to discuss.

Without it you have 45 minutes.

Now which is better for the forum?

I do think Live Feed is essential as it is needed to get a bigger reaction from people...

One housemate could be the most hated person in the house but Big Brother can edit it and make them out to be lovely... like they did with Carole and David.

Totally agree with both these points, LF is essential part of BB.

I didn't watch a whole lot of it tbh but I used to look forward to watching the aftermath of an eviction on a Friday night live. I watched Fight night live (till it got cut off) and like others said it gives a better idea of what the HMs are actually like and is what separated it (imo) from all the other easily manipulatable reality shows.

Live feeds for geeks and no lifers.

Just give me the best bits and spare me them brushing their teeth or making a cuppa.

But what are we "no-lifers" to do if there is no live feed? Surely you don't expect us to go outside or talk to people? Do you?

No you are not the only one, I would prefer the option to have it but wouldn't lose any sleep if live feed was missing and would still watch BB avidly.
