I agree all the Channel 4 graphics in general were more professional than Channel 5's, but the new advert is alright actually. And the eye itself is growing on me now.

Don't get me wrong, I find it hard to pick between 5,6 and 9 but BB9 was always non stop fun and everything about it, bar the final was perfect and spot on.

I liked the whole B block thing, but the cast was poor and the final 4 weeks dragged more than BB7's did and that's saying something (BB7's final weeks were so bad the diary room voices couldn't be bothered turning up for a week ).

You can't be saying BB10 was better surely? Whilst BB10 did have amazing housemates, BB9's production was heads on better than BB10's ever was.

The best kind of BB production is no BB production, in BB10 they let the housemates get on with like they used to rather than interfering with constant twists and a crap attempt at BBUS's HOH.

BB9 had a new variety of tasks and a good handful of twists and there was a great vibe with that series, BB10's task seemed to be the same thing every week and it was as if the producers had literally fallen asleep.

BB10's tasks were far better, BB9's were a massive improvement on BB7 and 8s which were random time fillers, but the whole 3 or 4 day task thing hadn't been perfected and they dragged, in BB10 they managed to pull that off better. The Alice in Wonderland and Halloween tasks from BB10 beat any BB9 task.

By mere virtue of not having Zezi on BBLB, BB10 was undeniably superior to BB9 .

The only criticisms I'd have of BB10 were the evictions (I didn't mind the panel but it didn't work and the wiring that meant the smaller crowd killed any atmosphere) and the inability to think of proper punishments for Siavash.

That and NO LIVE FEED!

Yes it has in my opinion. The graphics and clearly well produced titles and graphics drew me to BB in the first place. The amazing high framed titles and adverts gave the show a sense that a lot of effort had been put in and no matter the cheap, low class tone the housemates brought to the house. At least it retained some through the production. And I don't need to grow up as it is my opinion. Settling for that disgrace of an eye is just pathetic, its s**t and everyone can see that.

Odd. I've never watched a show because I liked the graphics. If viewers are that easily pleased no wonder television sticks to cop and hospital dramas.

The amazing high framed titles and adverts gave the show a sense that a lot of effort had been put in and no matter the cheap, low class tone the housemates brought to the house at least it retained some through the production. And I don't need to grow up as it is my opinion. Settling for that disgrace of an eye is just pathetic, its s**t and everyone can see that.

It's the eye! As fun as it is trying to guess what it'll look like, it's not important to anyone but a few dozen fans on TIBB.

I totally agree that not many find it important but thats where and why we can tell that channel 5 do not care about this show other than for numbers, which I hate. No passion is going to be put in.

And I obviously also watch because I enjoy the concept of the show but on days where the housemates just make a show thats not enjoyable at all the titles and production kept me watching.

Never usually see BB adverts, since last year I literally only watched C4 only for Big Brother and not a day before it. But I have to say, I prefer the new one.

The numbers are VERY important this year, hence why I am SO pissed off that we might not have a live feed. They can worry about us next year, keeping the show on air is their priority for 2011.

From what I've seen in the star (Spanish edition) the eye flash looks alright.It looks similar to bb8 but it has a camera Len in the middle.I would upload it but I have no proper Internet access or scanner as I'm on holidays.

They were made by mostly the same people and cost pretty much the same as the other ones, it's just a different look.

The BB10 advert you linked was good but it was a crap series. You might think the current advert is rubbish but it might turn out to be the best series ever.

I think that channel 5 are trying to market it at a different audience, the old ads made it seem as if we were expected to know what big brother is and how their graphics are done. They want a fresh audience this year I think.

I don't mind them changing up the graphics and doing different adverts to channel 4, that's what I would expect. They're doing their own thing with it now, I'm more annoyed about the things they're refusing to change, like the obsession with the c4 bunch of housemates.

But I hope for Marcus Bentley's sake that the channel 5 BB takes off well because without it he's probably out of a job at least on channel 4 he was given lots of other work. Or will he be a channel 5 continuity announcer aswell?

What? The series was amongst the best ever. It had it all. It was a huge resurrection in my eyes, it was only the final week that was a huge let down.

The following series was ridiculously dry and bland, though.

The Big Brother eye this year looks a bit weird.

I would go for a really fresh look with little colouring, something like the Big Brother 5 eye.

In my opinion the ads were better on Channel 4.

But Channel 5 could just do eye flashes this year as it's a different style of eye which people won't recognise and also because people would assume (from eye flashes) that it was going to be on Channel 5.

I just hope Channel 5 advertise on other channels as well as their own, they have to really.
