I'm very excited to see what will become of this, a hybrid of the style of Ray of Light/Music mixed with the dance music of COADF (but with more modern sounds) would be flat out brilliant.

Yes!!

Well I think she's written the main bulk of it anyways so she probably just has to record and produce it hopefully.

I hope its out by years end at least anyways.

Well Niall she also will have a movie to premote which is out in December. So it at a guess would be out early 2012. Don't forget some of her albums only took about a month to produce (American Life for example was recorded and produced after the Drownded World Tour/Swept Away).

Yeah I thought that too. I knew that one of her albums didn't take very long for her to make I just didn't know which one.

Well there is a chance you might get a soundtrack to the film (Produced by William Orbit - Ray Of Light producer) and she could release a song from it, though that would be different style to her album

And yeah thats true. ROL, imo, is her best ever album. Its an amazing record.

It would be a very interesting duet but yet again there are many cons about it. Many Madonna fans do not want collabs nor popular artists or we would have Hard Candy v2 which we don't want. Personally I would like a duet but not neccaserry on the album.

Madonna crowned ARTE Queen of Pop

French/German TV channel ARTE broadcast live from Hamburg last night (Saturday 30 July) to announce the results of fans online voting to name the Queen of Pop, 70,000 votes were counted and (of course) Madonna was crowned Queen of Pop.
Here are the full breakdown of results:

1 - Madonna 24.2%
2 - Britney Spears 20.9%
3 - Lady Gaga 15.9%
4 - Aretha Franklin 9.7%
5 - Kate Bush 7.7%
6 - Beyoncé 5.5%

well of course she is Queen. She should be much further ahead than that though.

And nice to see Kate Bush up there even though she's not an obvious POP artist by any stretch.
