Agreed. I was fed up of Eatock's eyes.

I have to say when i first saw the eye, from C5 i didn't like it at all, but now i really like it, & much prefer it to some of the Daniel Eatock eyes's he has designed.

Horrible, looks like someone splattered some paint on a piece of paper and sat on it.

Thats why I was glad we were getting a change from the Eatock eyes, all they ever were was the same basic template with a crazy effect incorporated into it that just about anyone could come up with in illustrator or photoshop.

I was looking over some of the old designs of Eatock eyes and I realised most are mega ****. One or two actually made me dizzy :/

Yeah I agree, I think he got lucky a couple of times the way they turned out the rest are just crap imo.

Prefer channel 5 and their design, it's so much better in terms of marketing the programme to a new set of viewers. It looks fresh and young which will no doubt attract a lot of people who either haven't ever watched it or turned off because they thought the concept was getting a little bit old and overused.

This is his design without Channel 5's say. The previous logos would have been accepted by Channel 4 (I think), and if they didn't like they'd ask for something else. I don't know lol.
