Absolutely a wise move! website blocking would have been disastrous route to have taken there would have been website injunctions coming out of our ears in a years time websites like youtube would be inoperable it would be abused to all hell.

As for making copies of cds or dvds if i buy something then its mine and i will do whatever i please with it rip it copy it play it in my house while there are other people there. (everybody always has but at least its clear that it is legal now)

The fact that hospitals have been struggling to update databases because of a fear of processing files in a digital format without having the permission of every single person in the files shows how messed up and outdated copyright law has become.
