Firstly, it it was in the Daily Mail, I would question the facts. Secondly, even if it IS true, do we think that this kind of story helps the fight against terrorism, or do we think it hinders it?

The Mail on Sunday yesterday printed the headline that the team who had killed Bin Laden had been shot down by the taliban. It doesn't help... in fact stories like these help the terrorists.

Don't send young men into a war zone, ask them to kill and to watch their mates killed, and then expect them to behave like plaster saints. I get tired of hearing from people sitting in the comfort of their home, passing judgement on our troops because of a story they heard fourth-hand.

If it's true, he needs the best support and help we can offer him, because something has obviously happened to him while he's been serving his country in a war zone. Afghanistan isn't Modern Warfare 2.

No one cares, trouble from the other side is already there.

UK troops blow people up, shoot them in the eyes, decapitate people and blow limbs clean off. Its a messy business but all part of the job spec.

I think its nice that he has a hobby. Life can get very tough out there and collecting is a good way to stave off boredom. I collect brass lady bells so can identify with him.

Exactly and until you have been exposed to a lot of dead bodies its not a good idea to make judgment. Ask mortuary attendants what they get up to....

If this is true, although he may be discharged from the army,he will get help for the psychological damage the war has obviously done. Can you understand that? He's probably seen stuff that would make you cry for your mummy. You seem to get a quite unsettling excitement from stories like this. You have no understanding of the true facts, yet you sit at your computer in the safety of your home, without ever having done anything more dangerous than cut up your dinner, and condemn.

Sign of the times.

So, you want the media to keep information from the public then? Man, more and more Fascists keep flooding this site. The Soviets would love a lot of people on here. Most of us can handle the truth. I'm sorry if it's too much for you to bear.

Why do you believe that being in a war zone automatically made him this way? People who are nuts go into the military all the time. Committing acts like these are what fuels terrorism. Men and women in uniform are to act respectfully. Stop acting like a Nationalist.
