Smile At least channel 5 give us regular updates.

Yeah, live feed may not come back. but to be honest with you, its news and clips updated when something happens, so it essentially live feed, but without censorship.

were all clinging onto live feed. in reality the facebook updates/ website updates are just the same, they are live, and they just happened.

if someone is willing to put the effort in to sit down and watch it 24/7 and give US the viewer 5 minute updates, then we should have the effort to give it a chance.

Live Feed is to expensive 86,000? and with endemol in debt that wold make a profit. i know that depending on the popularity of BB2011, it WILL be back next year! but give it a chance guys, there doing there up most best to make BB on C5 great, the celebrities? the best line up (if true) ever. and the house looks amazing!

At least Channel 5 are doing there best to replace live feed with the updates (on Facebook, Twitter AND 'bigbrother.com') what did C4 do on B10? a few updates a day? Channel 4 didnt even attemp to do the updates.

No.

It's not Live Feed because those clips can be edited and the tweets wrote on Twitter by some bint - can be manipulated and biased just as easily.

I find it quite funny to be honest, how fans are taking the live feed axe lieing down.

And also, even at that - Live Feed hasn't been axed.
There's still a big possibility of it being on BigBrother.com so will you all please get over this and stop being so miserable about it being 'gone for ever' when Endemol or Channel 5 have said nothing about it.

Also the show hasn't even begun yet.

For all we know they'll update their twitter every 17 Minutes and the website every 9 hours just like C4 did.

That's the stupidest thing I have ever read. What makes you think video updates will be uncensored? What makes you think they will show absoloutely everything? Despite the sound dips you have a much greater chance of knowing the score with a genuine live stream.

The rest of diatribe #2635 is way off the mark too. In relative terms compared to the rest of the production the stream is very cheap to maintain. And would almost certainly pay dividends.

Stop making excuses for the fact that Channel 5 have dropped the ball in a big way. They've messed up pure and simple. I'm sure it still has the potential to be a great series but having to watch a sixty second advert to see a ten second clip of a housemate dropping an egg on the floor of the kitchen on Facebook does not make up for a proper stream.

Nothing does.

I'm bored of this stupid argument about not having Live Feed for 2011. Listen. We have Big Brother. This time last year we were all preparing for the 'last ever' BB Final. Channel 5 were good enough to buy the show and bring it back.

So what if we don't have a Live Feed really? People are taking it over the top and becoming very childish about it. Another thing, Channel 5 haven't even confirmed if there will be a Live Feed or not. We're all still waiting on a confirmation from C5. People are talking as if it's never coming back.

Also, people are claiming that BB is going to die. What the hell? It hasn't even started yet and people are slamming it and saying it's a crap series. How the hell do you know if it's going to be a crap series when it's not even started?

People need to grow up and learn to be a bit more grateful

That is all. I've said my bit.

Honestly I didn't even care when we found out there was no 24 hour live stream, I hardly watched it anyway but the fact they won't even put a couple of hours on for us throughout the day and night is just taking the piss BIG TIME. So what if they're giving us 24 hour updates? whats stopping them from twising events that happen? its not like any of us can prove whats really going on now can we? All I want is the right to know even if I don't watch LF their are others who can confirm what really happened. It's just principal.

All it is to me now is TOWIE thrown into one house with a load of gimmicky tasks.

No they're not. Live feed is a core element of the Big Brother format and if fans are that passionate about it then of course they're going to be angry. It's no coincedence that the least watched series to date is also the one that had the least live feed.

How on earth is it a stupid argument? Go on. Humour me.

You are a complete fanboy. You're totally incapable of standing back and actually assesing this situation because your more concerned with doing right by Endemol and not saying a bad word against your precious show.

People have every right - every right - to be angry and frustrated if the stream is not returning. For many it's an integral part of the show. Just because the show itself is back doesn't mean we should just be thankful for anything they throw at us. Think about this. The idea that Big Brother is back on TV and that it still might be a great series absoloutely does not intervene or contradict any argument that's it's a complete joke that the stream might not be returning.

As a fan of what the show used to be I reserve the right - thankful though I am that Big Brother is back - to criticise it and rip into it as I see fit. I'm deeply sorry if that notion disturbs this everyone-love-the-show-and-get-on-with-it fantasy you are trying to maintain but I live in the real world.

It is a wholly absurd suggestion that we should just take this potential and likely loss of the live feed lying down coz' Channel 5 are blessing us by bringing the show back.

Bad word? I could name numerous things wrong. Like the Hosting. I think Emma should have been main host. And MY Precious show? Go say that to loads of other BB Fans.

I live in the real world. Big Brother is far and i mean far away from being one perfect show which everyone loves.

I e-mailed them about Live Feed saying bring it back. But i didn't take it any further because i knew they would get back to us in due course. They are going to this week, announce their decision on LF. All i'm trying to say is people need to be a little bit more grateful than what they're doing now. They're slating the show and it hasn't even started yet.

And 'they' have every right to slate it. The mere exclusion of the live feed totally destroys the idea of the show for some people. I'm not one of them - close - but I understand their concerns. Who is anyone to tell them shut up, get on with it and be grateful the show is back? They don't owe Channel 5 or Endemol anything. They feel Channel 5 and Endemol owe them a live feed and that the show is not the same without it.

People should be allowed think and what they want of the show without fearing a backlash from these complete nitwits who lose their shit everytime someone dares say a bad word against their favourite show.

This little Endemol honour guard thing we have going on the forum is getting really old, really fast. Let people be negative about the future if they want to be. Let them speculate that Channel 5 could muck it all up. And let them be pleasantly surprised if they don't.
