I am new to the forum and have to admit being more than little excited about the return of the main show particulrly at this time of year as I wont miss the early weeks on trps abroad which happened alot upto BB8. I gave up watching when BB8 was female only and looked like a bitch fest saw the first 3 days, left the country for 3 weeks, tried to get back into it but gave up never watched BB again.
It is an interesting show and maybe a new broom will reinvigorate the format if the prodcers dont mess about too much with the dynamics which reading posts about later series seems to have been the norm.
OK I don't watch the celeb version never have I will probably record the first shows to see what the house and presenters are like and hope it doesnt put me off.
Looking at the comments on here I take it no LF on any channels anounced not too bothered about 24hr or even overnight but some around task time during the day and evenings after high light show would be useful.
Is anyone else looking forward to the main show?

And yep, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not as excited about it as I was for the last BB, although I am really looking forward to launch night to see what it's like.

I was saying the same thing yesterday. I haven't been as "excited" this year for BB. It only hit me yesterday that we only had about 8 days to go until Big Brother would be back and I'd be really hyped about it before now. But this year, I'm not..

Maybe because last year, we all thought it wasn't coming back and with it going to a new Channel, we all don't really know what to expect. Channel 5 could kill it even more, but then again, they could bring it back to life.
That 'excitement' seems to have run dry for me. Maybe when we get the house pictures and we're a bit closer to the launch, I might begin to get a bit more hyped about it.

No live feed spoiled it slightly for me too. Be prepared to be brainwashed by Channel 5 with edited clips and being bias towards certain housemates. yay!

Yep, their youtube test doesn't give me much hope either - "Jimmy tries to win Barbara's love back", towib.

Thanks for the replies guys and gals I was beginning to think I would be on my own on that one. Good to know we can have a chat and vent our spleens on here once things kick off hopefuly lightheartedly. Upto BB7 there was a large group of us that watched and discussed even having BB nights watching in the pub those days are long gone most have given up and wont go back, I will miss that the discussions and sometimes arguments really added a dimension that no other show has ever achieved. Still tome moves on and fortunately technology has as well.
